Feeding the Lion: Micah Parsons serves fans at Dallas Cowboys-themed Raising Cane's restaurant

Micah Parsons hails from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, so he never had Raising Cane's growing up. A friend put him onto the fast food chicken spot during a trip to Austin, Texas and he was hooked.

On Tuesday, the All-Pro linebacker shared his love for Cane's Sauce and Texas Toast with fans when he worked a "shift" at the Dallas Cowboys x Post Malone Raising Cane's location. The Lion gave food to fans at the drive-thru and did some promotional content with others at the counter.

Parsons was all smiles despite the Cowboys losing to the New Orleans Saints 44-19 the weekend prior. He gave some insight into his mindset now that the team is 1-1.

"You gotta restart, reset and refocus," he told the media. "You know there’s always highs and you know there’s always lows. God always has a funny way of humbling you. Whatever comes to the top, will always come to the bottom, so you never really wanna get too high, too low, you always wanna stay neutral. I feel like you wouldn’t play anything without a championship mindset."

Before heading out, Parsons shared a final moment with fans thanking them for their support and leading a, "Let's go Cowboys" chant. He also made sure the Raising Cane's staff got a picture with him, too.

He embodied the restaurant's "One Love" slogan when explaining why events like this are important to him.

"What makes this whole NFL boat go? And that’s the fans," he said. "If it’s not for their love, their support, coming to see us play, their admiration and their work ethic into this community, we wouldn’t be able to support our community. So I want to contribute and try to do as much as I can for the fans and embrace their love."
